Saints keep hungry Wolves at bay...

Saints were trailing 8-14 at half time. Gardner and Tyrer rapidly responded in the first 10 minutes of the second half with a 'three try blitz' plus a penalty edging Saints ahead to 22-14. Hull KR beat Saints in Super League VIII opener...

Hull KR led 16-6 at half time. Saints strongly fought back to level the game at 22 all, Hull KR were awarded a penalty with six minutes of the game remaining giving them a two point lead and as the hooter sounded Saints player Gidley grounded the ball over the line but it was disallowed after the referee went back 50 yards to check a suspected knock on which was confirmed by the linesman.
